Restorative experience through music and sounds
A clinically informed restorative experience through music, sound, and vibration, facilitated by a Board-Certified Music Therapist
This calming, immersive experience is designed to support relaxation and overall well-being through intentional use of music and sound. Participants will be invited to slow down, reset, and experience a restorative environment that may support stress and anxiety relief, improved sleep, relaxation, pain management, and overall mind-body wellness.
This is a donation-based community event, with donations supporting Sounding Joy Music Therapy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and its programs and services.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all donations we receive directly support our operating costs, financial assistance for clients, and our continued efforts to make music therapy services accessible to our community.
With federal and state funding becoming increasingly limited, we are placing a greater focus on private donations and community support. Every contribution, big or small, helps us continue providing meaningful services to those who need them
Music Cafe (Community Drum Circle)
Join us for Music Café, a free and inclusive community music-making experience hosted by Sounding Joy Music Therapy! 🎶
Bring your friends, family, and loved ones and enjoy an afternoon of making music, connecting with others, socializing, and having fun together. This welcoming group is open to people of all ages, abilities, and individual differences, and no prior musical experience is needed.

44th Hawai'i Visitor Industry Charity Walk
Sounding Joy Music Therapy is participating in the 44th Annual Oahu Charity Walk. Use the QR code to donate to our organization. You can still support us even if you cannot be there in person! Your participation will raise funds for music therapy services in Hawaii.
17th Annual Waianae Keiki Spring Festival
Sounding Joy is participating in the 17th Annual Waianae Keiki Spring Festival at the Kamehameha Learning Center Campus. This event is open to Waianae Coast parents and keiki from 0-5 looking to learn about services and programs in their community. We look forward to seeing you there!
SPIN Conference
Sounding Joy will be tabling at the 37th annual SPIN Conference “It’s a Marathon, Not a Sprint”, scheduled for Saturday April 22, 2023 at the UH Campus Center Ballroom on Oahu. This event is in-person at the Campus Center, and offer virtual Zoom access to all of the live workshops, Resource Fair, live workshops, the SPIN Awards lunch, opportunities to network with old and new friends and doorprizes. Virtual access will include Zoom links to live workshops where you can ask questions using the chat feature, and doorprizes.
Hawaii Parkinson's Association Symposium 2023
Sounding Joy will be attending this year’s Hawaii Parkinson Association 2023 Symposium. The focus will be on “Everyday Living with Parkinson’s” and features tips and best practices shared by people with Parkinson’s. Everything from meal prep and cooking, gardening, travel, exercise, ADA home renovations, crafts, music and more. See you there!
43rd Hawai’i Visitor Industry Charity Walk

16th Annual Waianae Keiki Spring Festival
Sounding Joy participated in the 16th Annual Waianae Keiki Spring Festival at the Kamehameha Schools Community Learning Center to spread awareness of music therapy and what we do. There were 25 community partners tabling with over 150 families served.
