Music Therapy Services

Our services include:
music therapy consultation, assessment, treatment planning, evaluation, and individual/group therapy sessions conducted by Board-Certified Music Therapists (MT-BCs).

These services are available to all, but people with disabilities receive priority.
Music therapy sessions can be offered either individually or in groups, according to clients’ needs.

Grants and scholarships may be available to assist with payment for music therapy services on O‘ahu and the neighbor islands.

Intake/Assessment

Our intake/assessment session is provided in our office. This session gives an opportunity for potential clients/families to meet our music therapists, experience a music therapy session, and ask questions about our services. Our MT-BCs conduct a clinical assessment using a variety of measures to decide what service would be the best fit for an individual or group.

Group Music Therapy

Our MT-BCs facilitate group music therapy sessions both in our office and on-site at various locations (schools, community centers, senior care homes, hospitals, etc.) Our groups can range from 2 to 12 participants.

Music for You

Our MT-BCs provide adaptive music lessons for piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, percussion, and more. Our Music for You service is customized to fit each individual, any ability, seeking to learn music skills.

Individual Music Therapy

Our MT-BCs facilitate individual music therapy sessions in our office (or the client’s home, if needed). This is a 1:1 ongoing service for individuals to engage in music interventions within a therapeutic relationship, addressing goals related but not limited to: emotional, social, cognitive, communicative, physical, and spiritual well-being

Our organization offers ranges of music therapy seminars and conferences, including continuing education credit opportunities. These events are primarily targeted to specific populations/groups and topics, but may also be offered to the general public. Fees vary according to the nature of the event.
